The Pendenza Wine Story
“Pendenza Wine aims to bridge the gap between small producers and wine enthusiasts who seek unique and well-crafted wines.”
THE VISION
Pendenza Wine aims to bridge the gap between small producers and wine enthusiasts who seek unique and well-crafted wines.
We offer exceptional wines from boutique wineries to wine lovers and professionals around the world, building a brand that celebrates authenticity, quality, and education.
THE REGIONS
Due to the distinctive soils, climate, and cellaring methods, each wine-growing region has a unique selection of varieties. Slovenian vineyards are located in the very heart of the European wine-growing zone.
Thanks to varied microclimates, ancient traditions, and diverse terroirs, each wine-growing region in Italy produces distinct and celebrated varietals. Italy’s vineyards reflect centuries of craftsmanship and regional character.
The historic wine-producing country of Lebanon—centered in the fertile Bekaa Valley—is divided into key regions: Bekaa, Batroun, Jezzine, and Mount Lebanon.
The cool-climate wine state of Oregon—west of the Cascade Range—is divided into key AVAs: Willamette Valley, Umpqua Valley, Rogue Valley, and Columbia Gorge.
Syria currently has only one commercial vineyard in operation, Domaine de Bargylus, founded by brothers Karim and Sandro Saadé on the slopes of Mount Bargylus near Latakia.
Founder and Certified Sommelier
Megan Anderson
Megan Anderson is the founder of Pendenza Wine, a boutique importer dedicated to uncovering organic and biodynamic wines from lesser-known regions. With a deep appreciation for terroir and storytelling, Megan created Pendenza to bridge the gap between small, independent winemakers and the world of fine dining and hospitality. Her background in hospitality and passion for sustainable viticulture drive her mission: to champion wines of character, integrity, and place. Through Pendenza, she curates a portfolio that invites discovery—bottles that are as expressive as the people and landscapes behind them.
Megan’s journey into wine began not in a vineyard, but in the dining rooms of some of the world’s most thoughtful restaurants, where she developed a keen sensitivity to pairing, provenance, and experience. Over time, her work led her to the cellars and tasting rooms of Central Europe, where she built lasting relationships with winemakers whose philosophies aligned with her own—hands-off farming, minimal intervention, and deep regional pride. With Pendenza, she brings these values to the forefront, curating a collection that is both refined and radically honest.
